Dec. 14th, 2013 – Staten Island, New York–Tony Award Nominated, ‘Rock of Ages’ Star, Constantine Maroulis Featured in NY Chiropractic & Physical Therapy’s Holiday Music Video

NY Chiropractic & Physical Therapy is proud to announce that one of the most popular vocalists to come out of the American Idol phenomenon, Constantine Maroulis, has recorded a holiday music video in their honor, performing a Christmas rendition of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”

Maroulis is no stranger to soulful rock and roll—his most notable appearance on Broadway was as Rock of Ages front man, Drew Boley, a role for which he received a prestigious Tony Award nomination. More recently, Maroulis has joined the cast of Jekyll & Hyde, and is quoted as performing with a “triumph of vocal pyrotechnics,” a common understanding amongst those who are familiar with his raw and haunting resonance.

In this version of “Hallelujah,” originally covered by NYC based band Cloverton, the story of the birth of Jesus Christ is retold with moving verses that uplift the listener. Their rendition brings out the spiritual tones of the original song, and leaves listeners with a reminder of the true meaning of Christmas. Maroulis recorded the song and video alongside two of his Jessie’s Girl band mates, an 80’s powerhouse cover band that performs weekly at the Canal Room in Manhattan.
