Dr. Piazza has lectured at local and national conferences, and has been a featured industry expert on television and in print. His honors and renown reflect his multi-disciplinary approach and expertise in sports-related injuries, rehabilitation & conditioning, pain management, scoliosis spinal rehabilitation, and diagnosis and treatment of lumbar, thoracic, cervical spine & radicular pain, among others. Dr. Piazza has extensive training in the following techniques: Manipulation Under Anesthesia. Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson Drop, Sacro Occipital Technique, Activator, Graston Method, Soft tissue manipulation, Advanced Foundation Training and Cox Flexion/Distraction.
Dr. Piazza is a graduate of Life Chiropractic College and the City University of New York, Staten Island. He is also an active philanthropist, supporting many charitable and cultural causes, and serves on several boards, including St. Paul’s School of Nursing and Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden. Currently, he is President for District 5 (Richmond County) of the New York Chiropractic Association and is a member of both the New York Chiropractic Council and the American Chiropractic Association.
